Try this:
1) Replace the BINKW32.DLL by a newer version (V 1.5.21.0)

2) Deactivate DirectDraw-acceleration of the nvidia-graphicscard at System ==> Display ==> extended (erweitert). (Sorry, my English isn’t very good
, so have a look at the hardcopies in the attached files)
By following the above two Steps I think you’ll be able to play the game. The graphics are slow but the game is not crashing any more.
